NASMAH Task 1

Hey Guys!

So, last week I was given the task of looking up what NASMAH stood for so armed with my laptop and a bowl of ice-cream I sat down to do my research...

I can now confidently tell you that NASMAH does not stand for 'Not All Short Men Are Hairy' but it is in fact 'National Association of Screen Make-up Artists and Hairdressers'.  Who would have guessed?!



As I am myself, hugely obsessed with all things hair and make-up this site was super helpful and informative.
Information on the site ranged from learning new skills to better your career to finding a make-up artist.

While on the site I came across a link for 'GREASEPAINT'.

Greasepaint is a make-up and hair training facility based in London since 1979.  They offer courses all year round in TV, film and theater, fashion make-up, prosthetics and airbrushing.

Definitely worth a look if higher and further education in the make up field is desired and they have more than enough success stories in the business to back up their skills! - Although, you may have to rob a bank to take part, I'm sure it's worth it!
